Just a thought on making the master schedule.... Make a list of what your priorities are as a campus, whether it is improving math, LA, science, etc. scores. Then form your master schedule to accomodate those goals. At the PLC training I just attended, the presenter discussed at length, creating the schedule to create intervention time for those kids who need it.
ReplyDeleteThis looks good, Britt. One thing you might consider adding is some research on your part regarding PLC's and the effectiveness of grade level planning. This might be helpful when you take your plan to your administration. I agree with Genny too. There is so much you can do with this, so it will be easy to lose focus and try to take on too much. I would set some priorities and really focus on them. I think it will simplify things for you and also help teachers to not feel so overwhelmed.
